History At the end of the 2004/2005 season a decision had to be made regarding the future of the Ekco under 16's 3rd team. After a few discussions with players & parents it was decided that the team would try & enter into the Southend Sunday Sceptre League. During the summer months the Club changed its name to accomodate adult football, the Sceptre league accepted the team into the league & a home pitch was found to play our games. A few additonal experienced players were registered to strengthen the young squad. In September 05 The Ekco Whitecaps Senior team kicked off for the 1st time. Coach :J Proctor
