Minutes of previous meeting
The under 10;s are in the Final on 11th
May at The Wakering ground.
Last game over Ekco is the 20th
April
There have been no reports of any more
problems at Dave’s games a report has been sent to the FA by Dave.
The last minutes read that the under
15 girls had a fine, this should have been under 16’s.
Mini Soccer
Pauline
attended a League meeting last week where they introduced a new one line
system. Pauline explained that each
club will have its own web page on the new site and the club secretary and
one other will have a user id and password to enable them to edit the
site. All next seasons registration
cards will be downloaded by the secretary and printed out.
Each manager
will also have a password and will enter the match results on line, however
the hard copy of the match result cards still have to be sent through the
post.
Next season
result cards will have a section where managers have to enter scores for
Players, Spectators and Club Officials as well as the Referee.
Pauline
reported that next season under 8’s will only play exhibition football and
the word “league” will be substituted for “ Groups”
All F.A
Chartered Standard Clubs will have to have a Child Protection Officer, a Club
Welfare Officer and a Youth League Welfare Officer in the future. Both Claire and Wayne will be attending
the F.A Welfare Officers workshop.
The AGM for
Mini Soccer will be held on 30th June 2008.
The Mini
Soccer league have joined the “Please do not cross the line” Campaign. It was noted that the mini soccer pitches
were no longer roped off.
Paul Newhall
needs to return the Ashingdon Trophy to the relevant person.
Junior Soccer
Sarah
reported that Dave had put a report together regarding the incident last
month and this had gone of to the County F.A. and they were awaiting the
results
Various
tournament application forms were handed out.
Girls Soccer
The under 16 girls have three matches
left and are also in the Spring Cup.
They are looking into Ladies football for next season.
The under 15’s lost the semi final and
still have 7 games left.
Senior Football
Congratulations to John and his team
for winning the Ashingdon Cup
Steve R confirmed there will be two
senior teams next season.
Pitch Allocations
The main
club want to take the mini soccer pitches down early, mini soccer have a
Spring Cup and the last fixture is at home.
Steve R will ask for one pitch to remain until 20th April.
Rick also
has one outstanding game which he may play mid week
The under 15
girls still have two home games left on 24th April and 4th
May. It was suggested they contact
the away teams.
Coaching Sessions
It was
agreed that the coaching sessions for next season will be the first 3
weekends in June.
Treasurers Report
There is £9,572.61 in the bank as of
today. Steve Allum has some
outstanding subs to pay.

Sarah and Grant met with a member of
staff from the Freight House last week to finalize the arrangements
Grant could not get the DJ for the
night. Pauline will speak to her son

The badge on the Home page needs to be
updated.
Managers have had problems entering
the Committee page, Grant will have a look at it
Chartered Standard
All courses are booked and Managers
confirmed that they will attend.
AOB
Dave spoke to Southend BC about the
carnival but does not have the time this season to put into the organising.
It was suggested that the AGM will
take place on 10th June at the Ekco Club. Steve Read will book this and confirm at
next meeting.
